The Sounds of Poetry

In order to list this album, I had to put a price on it.  I intended for it to be free, but the system wouldn't let me because it was a bigger file.  

For over 30 years, I committed the feelings of sadness and grief to paper. But their melodies, the ones that whispered through my head, seemed doomed to stay forever trapped in my mind.

Those once seemingly silent words have a voice to express their angst in a new way. Sculpted from pixels, the verses now sing in all their melancholic glory. Now you can not only feel the emotions of my words but hear them.

The Sounds of Poetry is my debut and probably last album of "poem songs".

This is a true passion project, and it's something I've only ever dreamed of having.  As someone from two bloodlines full of musicians, I tried to find artists I could work with; I'd get my hopes up time and time again, but it never panned out.  Making things with another creative soul can be hard.  So, I took a chance on the available technology to create these songs.  I put in a lot of hours learning, tweaking, and refining. No, it wasn't as simple as "click, click, song."    

I do still dream one day of having my songs brought to life by a talented musician/band.  I won't give up on that.  This album is actually a pretty good starting point for what I hear in my head when I write.  But until I find my human musical counterpart, this will have to do.
